As a business we believe in supporting our wider community and using our own success to help others succeed. We are proud supports of Help for Heroes and have been since the company was established.
We support our chosen charity in two main ways:
Through offering employment
to ex-service personnel
Around 50% of our workforce comprises ex servicemen and women. We work with various organisations to help keep these numbers growing, including the Career Transition Partnership (CTP), Veterans Employment Transition Support (VETS), Poppy Factory and specialist ex-forces recruitment agencies. Service personnel have lots to offer our business, so we are pleased to be able to offer a supportive, stable working environment in return, which helps build on the skills of people moving into the civilian labour market.
Through raising money
for the charity
Through raising money for the charity. We complete regular charity events over the course of the year to raise funds and awareness. We will once again be running the London 10K race in support of Help for Heroes – it’s a great team-building activity and helps us raise money for a worthy cause.
